What led me here, making this holistic grocery list..

Back in January, I was vegetarian, eating tons of mock meats and high protein low carb “foods” that weren’t actually food. My gut was a hot mess, which meant- so was my skin, my emotions, and my mental clarity.

I began to research and learn all about gut and hormone health, and a lot of that learning was first-hand, from my own experience. When I say that I immediately felt a complete change, I’m not even exaggerating! At first, my digestion and energy sky rocketed. Then, my acne cleared up, but best of all, my mood was heightened. I no longer felt controlled by my radical, unexpected mood swings that were largely caused by the “foods” I was eating.

It’s been almost 6 months since then. Now I am more ready than ever to share all of my staple foods and supplements that drastically changed my life.

Great question. NO. This is the ULTIMATE list of foods, supplements, stores, brands, skin care, and do’s / don’t eat lists, as well as tons of links to get you right where you need to be. As a matter of fact, writing this grocery list helped ME!

Based off of my own experience, cravings, and struggles, I’ve compiled all of the foods, snacks, drinks, and specialists that helped me along the way. And I fully believe if you take action and commit to your journey, you’ll have the same success.

What is “holistic” ?

the term “holistic” refers to the WHOLE of something. To me, a holistic lifestyle looks like prioritizing every area of your being. (spiritual health, emotional health, mental health, and physical health.) When it comes to FOOD, holistic refers to foods that are in their natural state- hardly processed, organic, and bound to heal you from the inside out.

My Motive

My main motive here is to give you the chance to feel the transformation I felt. Changing my focus to holistic and functional wellness is something i’ll be eternally grateful for! And I pray that it works wonders for you too.
